Like his friend and mentor Joe Perry, Slash's concept of what makes a great Les Paul has changed greatly since the original Custom Shop Slash model of the late '90s. The plain Maple top and Custom Authentic finish combine with Duncan Alnico Pro II humbuckers and a Fishman Powerbridge (which can be used by itself or blended with the Duncans) to create an instrument that covers all the tonal bases.

The Johnny A. Signature model combines several innovative design aspects with loads of vintage Gibson appointments. The completely hollow body features contoured outer surfaces but a flat inner back, resulting in less feedback and bright, snappy response. A custom neck profile, and custom pearl inlays combine with traditional features like multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and an ebony fretboard to create an instrument that captures the magic of Gibson's past while eagerly anticipating the future.

The Gibson 50th Anniversary ES335 Electric Guitar pays tribute to the guitar that gained instant success when it was introduced in 1958. With its arched top and f-holes, the ES335 bore recognizable links to its lineage, but a quick check inside its double-cutaway thinline body with solid center block revealed it as a brave new design. More subtle in its advancement of the template, it was in many ways no less revolutionary, and also more acceptable to players who were hesitant to strut too far ahead of the pack. The new ES335 had the advantage of possessing some of the familiar ES features, and in particular was only a few steps away from thinline hollowbody models like the Byrdland and ES350T of 1955, but that chunk of maple that ran down its middle to render it a semi-acoustic made a world of difference to its performance.

The Gibson Chambered 1958 Les Paul VOS Reissue has all the great features, tone, and looks that made the original '58 Les Paul a classic, but with an ultra-light body! By popular demand, Gibson has incorporated their tonal chambering process in this amazing guitar. This Chambered version of the 1958 Les Paul VOS features a carved maple top, mahogany back, and one-piece mahogany neck with rounded '50's neck profile.
