A white mid ‘70s Les Paul Custom with pin-up girl stickers has become one of rock & roll’s most iconic symbols. The Gibson Custom Shop Steve Jones Custom is a recreation of this legendary instrument which is Gibson’s tribute to one of rock’s most unsung heroes, Steve Jones guitarist for the Sex Pistols and the guitar he used to make history.

Like his friend and mentor Joe Perry, Slash's concept of what makes a great Les Paul has changed greatly since the original Custom Shop Slash model of the late '90s. The plain Maple top and Custom Authentic finish combine with Duncan Alnico Pro II humbuckers and a Fishman Powerbridge (which can be used by itself or blended with the Duncans) to create an instrument that covers all the tonal bases.

Designed to offer the ultimate in performance, the Class 5 features a carved top of highly figured or quilted maple, with a weight-relieved mahogany back, a long neck tenon, and a slim taper neck profile based on the 1960 Gibson neck.

The Taylor 916CE is a premium-grade Sitka/Indian rosewood GS cutaway guitar whic is robust without sacrificing any tonal definition.

The SG Custom replaced the single cutaway Les Paul Custom in 1961. With three "Patent Applied For" humbuckers, gold hardware, multiple binding, and an ebony fretboard to go along with the new thinline body, the SG Custom maintained the standard of elegance set by the original Les Paul Custom.
